17th July

Darren chose one of the hottest days of the year to complete one of his training sessions.

Starting at 4pm, Darren began to run laps around Peurto Portals. With the sun beating down on him he continued for four hours.

The session allowed Darren to see how his body will react to the heat of the September run.

All the family were there to support him with water and cool towels.

The District Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons have agreed have agreed to match the donation made by the Balearic Lodge.

10th May

At the celebrations for Europe Day in Palmanova the winners of the BIS Has Talent competition performed and a cheque was presented by their teacher Mrs Anita Baggaley to Carlos Pons from the Fundacio Respiralia. The head teacher of the school has agreed to match the money raised by the children.

John Ballard, the compare for Europe Day, invited Bro. Darren Dunlop onto the stage so that he could explain to the people there about the Fundacio Respiralia and also about the Ultra Marathon on September 26th.

Later in the day Laura Penn, from Luna Radio, iterviewed Bro. Darren for her show.

9th April

The Gran Casino de Mallorca has kindly agreed to be a sponsor of our Gala Dinner which will take place on Saturday 26th September.

Spanish pop idol and Mallorcan resident from the TV programme "Fama" has agreed to entertain us at our gala dinner.

7th April

The Baleares International School held a talent show, "BIS Has Talent", judged by Leapy Lee, Fifille from Luna Radio and Graham Wesson from the Bay Entertainers and raised 60 euros to be donated to the Respiralia Foundation.

2nd April

Darren and Philip took part in a fun run in Palma and received a 50 euro donation for a T-shirt.

25th March

The Catalonia Conclave of the Order of the Secret Monitor has pledged a donation which is to be matched by Grand Conclave in the UK.

The Balearic Lodge of Mark Master has pledged a donation.

Today we went to the offices of the Majorca Daily Bulletin and were interviewed for an article to appear in the Saturday edition of the newspaper.

This afternoon we attended the Red Nose Day fancy dress party for kids at Mood in Costa D'en Blanes. All of the entry money will be donated to the Respiralia Foundation.
